Welcome to Have You Seen it?

We encourage you to post your thoughts about the movie below. If you loved it or hated it we would love to know!

I am Legend

Another Will Smith movie, another blockbuster! For a movie that for most of it, it's cast was minimal. It sure wasn't boring.
It's about the end of the modern world. A cure for cancer goes horrible wrong and mutates into an air born virus, killing ninty percent of the worlds population. Leaving the remaining ten percent mutated monsters.
It's a thrill ride, has a great amount of jump out of your seat scares, and half decent computer animation.

The Heartbreak Kid

Ben Stiller (Eddie) doesn't understand love, marriage the whole sha-bang. He always finds reason to breakup with the women in his life. Until his buddy convince him that he should be married, so after meeting a fantastic, sexy and funny girl. He dives into it. Gets married and heads off on his honeymoon.

Well his new wife, does a 360. Eddie meets his true love on his honeymoon and the story goes from there.

It's a cute movie! Again there is a growing trend to see what movie can out do the next with the racey, sex scenes. Keep this away from the little ones! It's rated R for a reason.

Rush Hour 3

The third installment of Rush Hour. Well if you are a fan, you might enjoy this for the fact that it's another Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker experience.
It actually isn't anything to really go on about, it's slow. Chan doesn't do as many of those, "Oh my" fight scenes. It also doesn't have as much of the comedy factor that 1 and 2 did.
Overall Rush Hour 3 is a bit boring, less exciting, kinda re-hashed hollywood drivel that we are coming to expect from franchise sequels.
Oh well, maybe Rush Hour 4 will actually have a great story line!

Good Luck Chuck

It's been a long time coming, a fresh new comedy! Something that makes you laugh. Good Luck Chuck is a silly, shoot from the hip comedy that starts you laughing from the start and keeps you smiling and laughing all the way to the end.

Now it's a little over the top with the sexual content, it gets the booby prize of the year award, as I have not seen so many breasts in a single movie, it rivals any adult film for quantity of different females dawning their tops!

Once you get passed the sheer nudity, it really is a fantastic movie. It's funny and fresh. Jessica Alba is extremly hot, Dane Cook does a great job.

To be cursed (Mind the pun), with the ability to send any woman to the alter with the next guy after having sex with any woman, Chuck - the main character falls for a penguin keeper. Finds out that this curse could cause him to lose her.

The plot is truely stupid, and it's probably why it was so simple to laugh! Laugh.. and Laugh some more.

Rating: 4.5 Kernels out of 5
Buy or Rent: Rent for sure. Will have to see it again before I decide if it's a movie that can be seen more than once and still make you laugh as much.

Stardust

Silly and Fun, Stardust is a cute fantasy adventure that doesn't wow you, but is enough to make smile after it's over.
You'll be taken on a fantasy adventure, which for what it is, was a fun escape, and as I mentioned, is a silly a plot line, but some of the best fantasy movies have been.

Join the adventure to crown the king of stronghold and a man's search for his true love.

This movie is clean and fun and can be watched by the entire family.

The Bourne Ultimatum

Once again Jason Bourne is back in another fantastic action pack spy/assasin vs the CIA.

If you want another thrill ride, sit back because that is exactly what you'll be getting. It's a edge of you seat movie.

This is one franchise that I've enjoyed as much if not more than the Bond 007 movies.

The Nanny Diaries

I kind of expected this to be a comedy, I guess I missed the trailers on this one. It missed being cute, It felt like a long drawn out trip to nowhere!

Scarlett Johansson was flat in my opion!

If you're looking to waste a few hours! Watching this film will do it! What a waste of time.

It's about a graduate that decides to escape her life to watch other live their own! So she decides to become a nanny by chance. I guess if it actually had a few laughs this film might of been ok.

I think I actually only laughed once! If I told you where, then well! You would miss-out! That's if you are really going to watch this.

Hot Rod

Wow! For a movie I had no expectations from HOT ROD really made me laugh.. kind of a stupid laugh as most the jokes are lame re-hashed slap stick humor, but I haven't actually laughed much while watching a movie lately.
I remember the promo launch for this movie and I figured it was going to be another Saturday Night Live piece of crap.
Overall, you can watch this movie with out losing too many brain cells. It plays with random humor and satire fairly well.
Yes! It could of been much better of a movie, but with all the Hollywood flops! It wasn't that bad - in comparison.

Live Free or Die Hard

John McClane is up to his old antics, Live Free die Hard was actually a fun movie, fast, lots of action and explosions we have come to love from the Die Hard series.

Plot: John McClane takes on an Internet-based terrorist organization who is systematically shutting down the United States

Deck The Halls

Very Cute, kinda stupid, tipical plot line, great family movie.
I'd have to say that my feelings after watching Deck The Halls couldn't be seen from outer space, ha ha! The plot of the movie is that Danny DeVito moves across the street from Matthew Broderick and after seeing a satelitte image of the neighborhood, realizes that his house can't be seen and goes on a quest to light it up.
Well it's kinda of the War of the "roses" meet the burbs.
It's still a fun movie that the whole family can enjoy because it basically doesn't break any PG-13 rules.

The Mist - Stephen King

Looks like we finally get to see the mist release in Theaters. Stephen King - The master of horror/thriller novels has a new twisted tale coming to theaters.

I've been a king fan most of my life. I have enjoyed many of his books and I hope this translates into a good movie.

Plot: A mysterious mist engulfs a town in Maine. A people start to get swallowed into it. The survivors turn to a the village grocery for safe haven.

Panic sets in, strange creatures appear and typical stephen king fun unfolds.

Hopefully we get our money worth.. I've got my fingers crossed.

Maybe one day the Gunslinger & The Dark Tower series will come to a movie adaptatiion. We can only wait and see.

Harry Potter - The Order of the Phoenix

Harry and the gang are back for the next installment of the Harry Potter franchise.

What a fantastic movie, I myself enjoyed this movie actually more than any of the others.

It's darker, the actors are now seasoned professionals and they pull off the angst and darkness this storyline holds.

If you're looking for a fantasy thrill ride, Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix will take you there and back again. This movie isn't geared towards the pre-teen market and is a lot more intense then the previous and wouldn't be suited for very young children.

Then again, kids these days expect this in the movies they watch and the games they play, so what do I know.

Captivity

Plot Line: Two people, a man and a woman wake to find themselves in captivity in a dark dank, and grimmly dim cellar. Their captor works extremely hard to drive them crazy.

I didn't expect anything from this movie or Elisha Cuthbert. I was just looking for my Horror Thriller fix on a boring tuesday night. "Garbage night"

After taking out the garbage I sat down, expecting a garage film, it didn't turn out to be the best movie ever but at least it didn't stink to high heavens.

I've always loved seeing females in movie or television kick ass, and this delivers a bit of that, which i'm missing since Alias went off the air.

I didn't hate it, It was somewhat likeable.. could be I watched this after "I know who killed me", but this was the highlite of a otherwise crappy night!

I know who killed me!

I'm usually not "super critical" about a movie, but this wasn't a very great movie, It was however ok. If you're a Lohan fan, well I guess it's you're new fix. I do have to say that the stripping scene was what I remember most from the entire movie.

I don't find Lohan that attractive and she should probably think again, when someone asks her to do anything that entails her showing off her boney body, that is if Lohan doesn't destroy her place in Hollywood first with another DUI. Accept for that slowly growing mid-driff, which is probably a result of too many nights drinking and partying she pulled off a bit of sex appeal.

This movie is not "film noir" nor a psychological thriller or gross-out flick that it tries hard to be. However it wasn't a total loss and actually had some entertaining moments.

Ratatouille

Rat-a-too-ee!!

This movie was very cute!

It starts off with our little chef (the rat) idiolizing his favorite chef, who passes away after a horrible food review that has him lose a star from his 5 star restaurant rating.

After an untimely miss-hap, little chef loses his family and ends up at the door step of the restaurant of his idiol.

This is where the story takes off and it keeps you smiling and giggling.

It's a great family movie! Pixar has done it again.

Disturbia

I actually enjoyed this movie, I expected another teen horror/action movie full of fluff. I was surprised that the story line wasn't as perdictable.

What would you do, after the loss of your farther? Probably act out like the main character Kale.

Well kale gets confinded to his property under house arrest, after getting in trouble.

It could of used a little more suspense and thrills but over all, it delivered as good hour of entertainment.

Licensed to Wed

Robin Williams hasn't lost his step! It is almost like they gave him free access to improv. This was a pleasant departure from his last comedic movie RV.

Now my problem is that how could Mandy Moore even think about getting hitched to her dorky co-star.

This is a date movie forsure. It has a few cute laughs and feel good moments.

It's plot line is simple, dorky guy asks sweet girl to marry him. She has to get married by father frank at her childhood and family church. They must go through marriage class and return to church and keep from fooling around until the wedding. Father Frank makes sure.

28 Weeks Later

Zombies are unleashed once again. 28 weeks after the initial rage virus spread and decimated london, The US army helps re-populate a section of england.

Well nothing every goes as planned!

This was, for a sequal, just as fun and creepy as the first. Sure to be a cult movie franchise.

If you love zombie movies, this is by far one of the better ones..

Get out of England before it's too late!

1408

Based on a story by Stephen King

Starring : John Cusack
Samuel L. Jackson

After a big let down watching Dreamcatchers another Stephen King adaptation. I wasn't expecting much out of 1408.

A ghost story!

Mike Enslin(John Cusack) checks into room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel, the one room that the hotel doesn't rent out, but Mr Enslin who specializes in debunking the paranormal, checks into the unattended room, and all hell breaks lose.

For a ghost story, the movie has enough "bump in the night" thrills and chills. As what happens with a lot of the king adaptations a bit gets lost in translation.

Transfomers

The big blockbuster of the year, and in my opinion it was very well done. I remember watching and growing up with Optimus Prime on television.

I collected every transformer my parents would buy, I even snuck down one x-mas morning and switched out my brothers transformer with a toy I had no interest in.

Well the childhood memories of the cartoon probably made watching this movie even more of a treat for me.

Directed by Micheal Bay, (aslo directed the Island) this movie delivered the drama and action you'd expect from a pre-summer blockbuster.

Its plot was simple. A war was raging between the Autobots and the Decepticons. The power source and the tool of their creation was hidden on earth.

Sam the son of an Explorer who found the artifact has the key to its discovery. Watching the movie. I chuckled to myself think about how much Ebay must of paid for it's inclusion in the plot line. Well because this key is placed on Ebay by same to be sold so he can make money to buy his first car! This in turn is the reason why the transformers find him. Good and Bad.

It's well worth the time to enjoy! Just sit back, grab a big bag of popcorn!

Rise [Blood Hunter]

Next to my childhood fantasy vampire (Jamie Gertz) [The Lost Boys], Lucy liu has pulled of HOT vamp with an attitude.

Rise, is a journey of a tormented vampire on a quest to destroy the vampires that turned her.

The one thing that was different in this vamp tale, was that our blood thirsty demons, didn't have metamorphic teeth that would turn the incisors into flesh ripping knives. The vampires more blood thirsty humanoids that need to cut the flesh of the victim before feasting.

Rise for what it is, was fine. It tried to be artistic and lacked a bit of quality in its story line.

I now pronounce you Chuck & Larry

Can I say "Holly Crap" in a blog and not offend anyone. Hope so!
Well I laughed my ass off! I know this has a gay overtone to it, but come on. If you still have a problem with this topic, it's time to get into the 2oth century. I'm married have two kids, and it doesn't bother me what others do! But I couldn't stop laughing at the sterotypes that this movie played off of.
Sandler and James pull off a great date movie that gives you enough laughs to have a feal good fealing at the end. From the producers of American Pie, but with any of the trade mark gags, Chuck & Larry is a must see.

Jessica Beal, Well she appeals to pretty much any guy and looks great in the "CAT suit".

Spiderman 3

Spiderman series unfolds again. This time Spidey has to battle his inner-evils forced upon him by the alien symboit that takes the form of his costume but with a darker black personna.

Well, I've been a spidey fan for many years, I've followed his storey lines as a little kid and collected and enjoyed the Macfarlene Spiderman Comic stint during my teenage years.

I'm fairly happy with how they brought this period of his comic book storey line, into the main stream movie market. The costume was fantastic and it's transformation into venom was superb.

If you take this movie for what it is. It is extremly enjoyable. The effects and the story telling are decent.

Have you seen it yet.. write a comment below. Tell me what you think.

The comic book genere doesn't seem to be slowing down, and as long as they keep making films that follow the comic book story line, somewhat! They will keep a fan base and keep making movies that are for what they are, pure entertainment.

Watch spidey battle the sandman, and venom.

Pirates of the Caribbean 3 - At worlds end!

I actually thought Pirates 1 and 2 where very well done, had a great story line and captured the imagination and fantasy that pulled me the the edge of my seat.

Pirates of the Caribbean 3 took me a little longer to get into.

Getting Jack back from Davy Jone's locker actually sorta lost my interest and I didn't find the humor of the multiple sparrows, jacks personal hell.

As I sat watching the movie the thought of watch the second movie crossed my mind. I was thinking that if I re-watched the second movie I might of got into the third movie and followed along a little better.

However, half way through the movie, the action picks up. The story line stream lines and everything seems to get crazy. I started to really get into it. I remembered why I loved the first two and start to hope for a fourth!
